Do you keep your videocassettes on a shelf that's too deep, and they keep sliding back out of sight?




Here's a suggestion.  Lay a 2x4 behind them.  (Of course, other things will work as well.  Since I first wrote this document, I've started using empty tissue boxes.)




Then they'll stay evenly lined up near the front of the shelf.




If you have a shelf that's too narrow for the width of a 2x4, then stand it up on edge.




By the way, did you notice how I keep those cheap particle board shelves from sagging in the middle?
